Registration, Payment, Transportation, and Cancellation Policies
1. REGISTRATION: To register and reserve your place in the SOLSS program of your choice, please submit your SOLSS Application Form and make your reservation payment as early is possible. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an SOLSS registered adult or submit the SOLSS Parental Agreement Form with their Application (via Fax only). SOLSS reservation fee pays for all processing and program administration and is non-refundable. Your registration continues valid for further SOLSS program services for 12 months after your program start date.
2. PAYMENT DEADLINE AND METHOD: A.- This REGISTRATION FORM and RESERVATION PAYMENT must be received by 2 weeks before your program start date (For those who confirm the reservation by sending 20%, we will give you a 5% additional discount). B.- If you miss the 2 deadline weeks, you can still pre-register and pay a few days late by including the late payment fee (there is additional $35) with your reservation payment. C.- You can also do late registration by using the ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM (check our registration options). D. To complete your reservation payment you can use the following methods: www.alertpay.com or www.paypal.com or www.moneygram.com or www.westernunion.com E.- DIRECT REGISTRATION in Nicaragua requires full payment in US cash in good physical condition only.
3. AIRPORT TO SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE: Please notify SOLSS in writing of the date, time, airline and flight number for your arrival to Managua no later than one week before your arrival date. Late changes in arrival date or time may require an additional ($10) fee. Large objects such as surfboards are charged as additional passengers (US $5 extra). If your flight arrives late in the day (after 9:30 PM), may require an additional ($10) fee. // **Pick-up service is one-way only. Your return school-to-airport transportation is arranged directly in our school (SOLSS) at the end of your program.
4. CANCELLATION/CHANGE/REFUND POLICY: A.- Reservation and late payment fees are non-refundable. B.- Requests for program changes after the two deadline weeks are processed by cancellation and re-registration. C.- Once you have completed the reservation of your course, and you have arrived to the school in Nicaragua, you cannot do changes in your program (if you have any question about this please ask by email). D.- If you are already in Nicaragua, and you want to cancel your program we make a full refund over the not started weeks minus a cancellation fee of $80 US Dollar.
SOLSS Study-Travel Agreement
I, as representative of the above named group, understand and have made the members of my group aware of the terms and policies of this contract as described above. We agree to not hold SOLSS, agents or employees liable for any injury or loss that we or our property may experience during the course of our travel or Spanish school program, activities or lodging. We understand that every member of our group ought to be in good enough physical, mental, and emotional health to adapt to the challenge of traveling and living in a foreign environment and culture. We agree to act with civility and consideration toward our fellow students and the native peoples with which we will be in contact during the duration of our program and homestays.
